Saw this video about life being a journey, not a race.
Seriously, I was treating my career path…my life path really like the last lap of the Olympics, trying to outpace everyone to some mythical finish line…
True winners are the ones who enjoy the journey.
I’m officially applying the brakes on the whole “life is a race” mentality.
🏃♀️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
We need to start treating our lives less like a high-speed chase and more like a leisurely Sunday stroll with mandatory coffee breaks.
☕️☕️☕️
The goal isn’t just to get to the end fast; it’s to actually look around and enjoy the scenery (and maybe wave at the spectators).

My new mantra: Slow down, savor the milestones, and remember that sometimes the best strategy is just a brisk walk, not a full-on sprint.
After all, what good is winning a race if you were too stressed to notice the free pretzels at mile marker two? 🥨
Let’s make work less about the finish line and more about the fun between the lines.
🏁🏁🏁
Who else is hitting the ‘slow down’ button and pit stopping for water and petting dogs 🐶 this week?
